Culture, arts & entertainment: things to do near me

SATURDAY 14TH MARCH 2026
A THING TO DO THIS SATURDAY

Estimated cost Free Estimated duration 1-3 hours Distance away Less than a mile away
It's not quite St Patrick's Day (that's the 17th, of course) but that doesn't stop Seattle celebrating early. So, join the crowds this Saturday and watch the thousands of people celebrating the patron saint of Ireland in the annual Seattle St Patrick's Day celebrations, beginning with a flag ceremony at 12.20pm at the King County Administration Building, with the parade beginning ten minutes later, marching down 4th Avenue from James Street to Westlake Park. With marching bands and entertainment en route, go along and celebrate all things Irish.
