When The Valiant Soldier public house in Buckfastleigh closed its doors in 1965, everything remained exactly where it was - the chairs, the glasses, even the change in the tills. Now, you can step back in time and experience it as it was - together with other glimpses at Buckfastleigh history at the neighbouring Buckfastleigh Museum. The two sites are open from 10.30am - last entry is 4pm.
