Like many towns, Wath-upon-Dearne celebrates traditional dancing and folk music, and there's a festival there this Saturday with live music in Montgomery Square and on The Green. But the town also has its own particular tradition alongside this, thanks to the will of a 19th-century benefactor, who paid for bread to be flung from the church roof at noon. Go along early, grab a bun and have some fun.
